Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 23 May 2018 to Question 144964 on children's centres, if he will place a copy in the Library of his Department's clarification to the Science & Technology Committee referred to in that answer.

I have written to the Chair of the Science and Technology Select Committee with a clarification. I would expect this letter to be published as part of the normal course of the inquiry. It should therefore be available to the House without the need for a copy to be placed in the Library.
