To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate her Department has made of the average total cost of obtaining a UK Commercial Pilot Licence, including associated flight training and examination costs.

The Department for Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority do not hold data from which an average total cost of obtaining a UK Commercial Pilot Licence can be determined.
