The proportion of funding allocated by HMRC for general staff costs to implement the Customs Declaration Service is 18% of the total funding received.

The amount HMRC pays contractors is commercially sensitive and cannot be disclosed. HMRC uses Crown Commercial Service frameworks to procure contractor resources to ensure competitive market rates.
