In the most recent academic year where data is available (2016/17), 460 trainees undertook Early Years Initial Teacher Training (ITT) on the Graduate Employment Based route at accredited providers across England.

A total of £3,220,000 was allocated to ITT providers to fund the employer incentive of £7,000 per trainee. It is the responsibility of the ITT provider to pass this on to their respective nursery providers therefore the Department for Education does not directly hold the details of individual nursery providers and the funding they received.
