Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 23 April 2018 to Question 136168 on Academies, how many checks the Charity Commission carried out on trustees of Multi Academy Trusts that have dissolved to ensure that accounting records will be preserved for a period of six years in accordance with the Charities Act 2011.

This is a matter for the Charity Commission. I have asked the Chief Executive Officer,
