To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, what discussions she has had with the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Investment in the Northern Ireland Executive on (a) retention of the Strategic Energy Framework target of 40 per cent electricity from renewables by 2020 and (b) the contribution of that strategy to meeting the UK's international obligations.

My rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State met Jonathan Bell (Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment in Northern Ireland) on the 10^th June.
