Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether crew from the Royal Australian Navy are training on Royal Navy Astute-class submarines.
This question was answered on 2nd March 2023
There are currently a small number of officers from the Royal Australian Navy undertaking the Marine Engineer Submarine Officers Training Pipeline (Astute Class stream) at HMS SULTAN in Gosport. The next stages of their training are being finalised.
