Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many (a) hours and (b) missions on average were flown by Sentry aircraft protecting the UK coast in each of the last three years.

I am withholding details of the number of missions and hours flown by the RAF's E-3D Sentry fleet on specific taskings as disclosure would, or would be likely to prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the Armed Forces.
