Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what proportion of defence procurement contracts have been awarded by his Department to US companies in each of the last five years.

The Ministry of Defence routinely publishes statistics on organisations paid more than £5 million and the levels of expenditure against competitive and non-competitive contracts. This can be found at the following link:

A breakdown to show US-owned companies could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
