Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether he has estimated the average additional value to his Department of awarding defence procurement contracts without going through a competitive process; and if he will make a statement.
This question was answered on 27th June 2018
The Ministry of Defence does not calculate an average additional value for single source procurement as the decision to take this route will be based on a range of factors specific to that particular programme.
