Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if his Department will take steps to pilot programmes assessing the potential merits of digital wearable devices in helping to improve people's health and wellbeing.

The Department and NHS England are both undertaking pilot programmes involving the use of digital wearable devices to support health and wellbeing. This includes both health incentives and condition specific monitoring.
