Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, pursuant to the Answer of 26 February 2024 to Question 14392 on Renewable Energy: Community Development, when she plans to publish the outcome of the review into the Government's approach to community benefits.

As part of the Autumn statement package Government committed to review its approach to community benefits to ensure that we are being strategic in identifying key sectors where community benefits can support delivery of infrastructure. This work will need to build on and learn from the electricity network-specific approach being taken by the energy sector and will be considered in due course as part of future funding and investment decisions.
