Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what information his Department holds on the number of people who have entered the social work profession in Coventry in each of the last three years.

Skills for Care, the partner in the sector skills council for social care, in England, collects data on the number of social work jobs in England.

Data shows that there were around 100-125 social worker jobs employed by Coventry local authority with fewer than 10 new to the profession in each of the past three years.
