Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the effect on the level of provision of public services of the increased public sector worker contract rates resulting from IR35 rules.

The Government is monitoring the impact of the recent changes to the off-payroll working rules in the public sector including through engagement with stakeholders. The Government recently published independent research on public sector workforce structures and costs of administration of the reform.
