Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps he is taking to ensure that responses to correspondence from hon. Members are provided within the target time.

MHCLG takes correspondence very seriously. We have made a number of procedural changes during the course of 2018, and these have underpinned a significant, sustained improvement in our performance. We continue to seek and implement ways to ensure that responses are provided within the target time.
