Supporting victims of crime is a priority for the Government and we have made a commitment to publish a Victims Strategy this Summer.

We want to make sure that we get the Victims Strategy right and that it properly meets the needs of victims. We are looking at both legislative and non-legislative options to give effect to the Strategy and address issues identified by stakeholders. This includes assessing the costs of options as work progresses.
