To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities, whether the Government plans to bring forward legislative proposals to ban conversion therapies before the end of this Session.

The Government will publish a draft Bill setting out our approach to banning conversion practices (also known as ‘conversion therapy’) for pre-legislative scrutiny by joint committee. This legislation will be sponsored by the Equality Hub, overseen by the Minister for Women and Equalities. It is the Government's intention to complete pre-legislative scrutiny in the current parliamentary session.
