Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, on what date did Jonathan Powell commence his role as Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for negotiations between the UK and Mauritius on the exercise of sovereignty over the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) / Chagos Archipelago.

I refer the Hon Member to the answer he has received on all the other occasions he has asked variations of the same question over the past five months, including Questions 115117, 117954, 129315, 129318 and 129513.
