Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what representations his Department has received from (a) organisations, (b) charities and (c) individuals on Section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 in the last 12 months.

Defra receives regular letters, emails and queries relating to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 from a range of organisations, charities and individuals. The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs committee is currently holding an inquiry on the issue and Defra has given evidence.
