Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many veterinary surgeons from (a) non-UK EU member states and (b) non-EU member states have left their employment in UK abattoirs after the referendum on 23 June 2016; and if he will make a statement.

No veterinary surgeons based in or who frequently visit United Kingdom abattoirs have left the employment of the Food Standards Agency since 23 June 2016.
