Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Defence Investment Plan, whether the £1.1 billion allotted for the Ajax Armoured Fighting Vehicles includes additional funding beyond the original £6.3 billion contract.

The £1.1 billion allocated in the Defence Investment Plan is funding to deliver the remaining elements of the programme and provisioned funding to provide support while in-service.
