Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, if he will undertake research on (a) funding models for mixed use developments and (b) potential barriers to partial public funding of such developments.

The Government recognises the need for mixed use developments, which is outlined in our National Planning Policy Framework.

Our Affordable Homes Programme funds a range of tenure types in schemes that are typically mixed-development.
