It is not feasible to make an assessment of the net pay of staff as a result of the Agenda for Change pay award this year. Net pay is determined by a number of factors that would not be known such as income tax allowances and at what income levels marginal tax rates apply that are personal to individuals. Also, unsocial hours payments in particular will vary during the course of the year. All staff earning up to £69,168, the top of band 8c, will see an increase of at least 3% in gross base pay by the end of this financial year through a combination of the increase in pay point values and incremental progression.
