Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many people have (a) used and (b) been refused Passenger Transport Services in each local authority area in the South West in each month in each of the last two years.
Information on how many people have used or been refused Patient Transport Services is not held centrally.
Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) replaced primary care trusts on 1 April 2013. A search of the Department Ministerial correspondence database has not identified any correspondence received since 1 April 2013 from CCGs about more detailed guidance on non-emergency passenger transport eligibility requirements. This figure represents correspondence received by the Department’s Ministerial correspondence unit only.
