Information on how many people have used or been refused Patient Transport Services is not held centrally.

Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) replaced primary care trusts on 1 April 2013. A search of the Department Ministerial correspondence database has not identified any correspondence received since 1 April 2013 from CCGs about more detailed guidance on non-emergency passenger transport eligibility requirements. This figure represents correspondence received by the Department’s Ministerial correspondence unit only.
