Between 2014 and 2016, the number of reported road accidents involving personal injury on the M56 between junctions 12 and 14 has fallen by 31 per cent - from 29 to 20. To further improve the road safety performance of the junction still further, Highways England plans to modify part of the junction layout during the current financial year.
