Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what recent assessment he has made of the adequacy of housing options for armed forces families.

The Ministry of Defence is committed to giving Service personnel flexibility and choice in where, how and with whom they live. That is why the Future Accommodation Model will use a combination of existing Service accommodation and the private rental sector. We are currently planning the implementation of a pilot at a small number of bases.
