Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps he is taking to encourage the provision of greater street lighting in London boroughs.

The UK Roads Liaison Group (UKRLG), chaired by the DfT and with TfL representation, provides guidance - including on street lighting - to all local authorities in the UK, through the Well Managed Highway Infrastructure: A Code of Practice.
