Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to his Department’s press release entitled Government and health unions agree pay deal paving way for an end to strike action, dated 16 March 2023, whether that offer if accepted would result in Barnett consequential payments.

The devolved administrations will receive Barnett consequentials on any new money in the usual way. HM Treasury will work with the devolved administrations throughout the year and final adjustments to budgets will be confirmed as part of the Supplementary Estimates process.
