Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people have left asylum accommodation having been granted asylum in each month of (a) 2025 and (b) 2026 for which the latest data is available.

The Home Office does not publish data on the number of people who leave asylum accommodation after being granted asylum. While statistics are published on grants of refugee permission at initial decision (Asy_D02) and on the number of people receiving asylum support (Asy_D09), these datasets are not linked and therefore cannot be used to identify how many individuals left asylum accommodation following a grant of asylum. Consequently, the information requested is not available through published statistics.
