The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) records the number of incidents reported to it. The number of cybersecurity incidents recorded is unlikely to be representative of the numbers of attacks actually launched, as not all attacks may be detected or reported by the organisations affected. The government is committed to improving the quality of data available and making cybersecurity incidents easier to report.
