Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what plans he has to bring forward legislation to reform leasehold.

The Government is committed to making the leasehold market fairer for consumers. We are moving forward with legislation on leasehold reform which will include measures to ban the sale of new leasehold houses, restrict ground rents to zero for future leases, and close loopholes to prevent unfair evictions.
