To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 28 June 2022 to Question 23405 on Defence: Finance, what his most recent estimate of defence inflation is.

The most recent estimate for defence inflation is for financial year 2021-22, which has been estimated as 2.1%.
