Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what plans his Department has for long term support to the recovery effort in Turkey following the recent earthquakes in that country.

The UK is a committed humanitarian donor globally and responded quickly to the devastating earthquakes to provide life-saving support to the people of Turkey and Syria. As we move out of the emergency response phase, the UK will continue to stand in solidarity with Turkey and to look at what more we can do to support the longer term recovery effort.
