Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what estimate he has made of the number of statutory instruments related to the UK leaving the EU that will need to be passed which will be sponsored by his Department.

The Government remains confident of ensuring a functioning statute book as we leave the EU. All statutory instruments are being published on legislation.gov.uk, and the Government has committed that statutory instruments relating to EU Exit will be clearly titled. To date, my department has laid four such statutory instruments.
