Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment he has been made of the adequacy of custody cell provision since 2010.

Decisions about police estates, including resourcing to ensure that the provision of police custody cells meets operational requirements, are local matters for Chief Constables working with democratically accountable police and crime commissioners.
