Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what assessment she has made of the potential impact of the Competition and Markets Authority's decision to prevent Microsoft’s proposed purchase of Activision on levels of international investment into the UK.

The CMA is the UK’s independent competition regulator and has published the rationale for its decision. It would not be appropriate for me to comment on the details of this case.
