Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the proposed time frame is to reduce the maximum stake on fixed odds betting terminals to £2.
This question was answered on 1st November 2018
As announced at Budget the maximum stake on fixed odds betting terminals will be reduced to £2 from 1 October 2019.
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport intend to lay the draft regulations before Parliament, for the usual process of approval, in due course.
