The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Future Defence Infrastructure Service contracts for Service Family Accommodation are set by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).

The DIO decides whether the KPIs have been achieved using data provided by the suppliers.

There are a number of potential consequences of not reaching the acceptable level of performance, including a percentage of the profit being withheld.
