Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what steps her Department is taking to help developing countries dispose of asbestos waste safely.

The Department for International Development supports the management of hazardous waste through the Global Environment Facility. The Department for International Development does not currently provide bilateral support to help developing countries dispose of asbestos waste safely.
