Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many asylum applications were initially refused in each month in 2015 to date; and how many such applications were from individuals aged under 18.

The Home Office publishes data on asylum applications and decisions on a quarterly and annual basis.

Statistics on the number of refusals at initial decision for asylum main applicants, for quarter 1 (January to March) 2015 to Q3 (July to September) 2015, are given in the table.
