Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, pursuant to the Answer of 19 May to Question 183852 on Regulation, whether these archival records have been reviewed as part of the audit of EU regulations.

As mentioned in our previous response (PQ 183852) records are reviewed before they reach 20 years old and the oldest records are reviewed first. Due to a backlog, we are currently reviewing records from the late 1990s/early 2000s.

If records relating to regulation have been retained, they will be reviewed in due course.
