Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, if his Department will make a comparative assessment of the (a) trend in the number and (b) scale of planning applications made by developers for greenbelt sites since (i) 1 January 2022 and (ii) 22 December 2022 in (A) Hertfordshire and (B) England with the average of those made in each of the last five years.

The analysis required to provide the requested information could be carried out only at disproportionate cost.
