Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what guidance his Department issues to new local authority administrations on (a) amending local plans when they are with inspectors and (b) the frequency with which such plans can be reviewed once they have been agreed.

The Department does not issue any specific guidance to new local authority administrations on amending local plans when they are at examination.
