Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to Government grants statistics 2020 to 2021, published 31 March 2022, what assessment her Department has made of the effectiveness of the Western Balkans SOC Community Coordinator Grant.

Reducing the threat posed by Western Balkans organised crime groups is a government priority, and this pilot programme plays an important role in the national response.

The pilot is in its final year, ending in March 2024, and has been subject to regular Home Office and NPCC monitoring throughout. A programme evaluation, spanning the full duration of the pilot, is due in 2024.
