Housing: Evictions

Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what estimate he has made of the average cost of housing a person evicted under a section 21 notice for (a) each local authority in England and (b) the Government in each of the last five years.

It is not possible to break down expenditure by cause of homelessness.
