Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many tanks are in service with the Army.

213 Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks are in service with the British Army. This number reflects a reduction in platforms from the number quoted in the annual published statistics following the Granting in Kind of 14 Challenger 2s to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
