Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, how much aid his Department has provided to Afghanistan in the last 12 months.

Afghanistan is one of FCDO's largest bilateral aid programmes this financial year, at £100 million, and the UK remains committed to the people of Afghanistan. Last financial year, the UK spent £246 million in aid for Afghanistan. UK aid is providing vital lifesaving support to the most vulnerable.
