Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what proportion of his Department's civilian fleet is comprised of electric vehicles.
This question was answered on 29th June 2023
Of all vehicles within the Ministry of Defence's civilian fleet, leased through the Phoenix II Contract, 745 are electric, making up 5.86 % of the vehicles on the fleet. There are a further 1,414 hybrid vehicles which also contribute to the target of 100% of the fleet being Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEV) in accordance with the Greening Government Commitment to Zero emissions by 2027.
