Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the planned cost is of the refit of HMS Defender.

The total anticipated project costs for HMS DEFENDER's refit is £68 million; this figure may be subject to a slight adjustment to reflect on-going negotiations with the contractor BAE Systems.
